For nearly two decades, Allison Casper, founder and principal designer of Casper Design, has been transforming spaces into timeless reflections of her clients’ lives. With a foundation deeply rooted in both interior design and construction, her approach fuses imagination with craftsmanship, creating spaces that are thoughtfully designed and impeccably executed.
While her heart leans toward organic modern design, characterized by timeless materials and subtle sophistication, her portfolio reflects a dynamic range of styles. Each project is a bespoke collaboration, tailored to the individual client and their way of living. Whether designing a traditional residence or a modern sanctuary, Allison defines luxury through authenticity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
ABOUT
JORDAN NIMS
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Jordan Nims relocated to Charleston with her husband and their two fluffy pups, eager to embrace a new chapter along the coast. With a background in nursing, Jordan has a deep appreciation for detail, structure, and human connection which translated seamlessly into her second career- interior design, a lifelong passion she decided to pursue upon relocating to Charleston.
While taking design courses downtown, Jordan joined Casper Design, LLC, where she has quickly become an integral part of the team. She embraces the ever-changing nature of design, finding joy in the variety each day brings — from sourcing furniture and materials to assisting with client meetings, procurement, and installations.Jordan’s curiosity, dedication, and growing expertise bring fresh perspective and enthusiasm to every project, helping turn design visions into beautifully executed spaces.
OUR PROCESS
1. Initial Connection
Every project begins with a conversation. During our introductory call, we take the time to learn about you, your space, and your vision. This first step allows us to understand your goals, aesthetic preferences, and how we can best bring your ideas to life.
2. On-Site Consultation
Next, we meet on site to explore your space in detail. This visit allows us to better understand the flow, architecture, and design potential while discussing your lifestyle, priorities, and inspiration in greater depth. It’s where your vision begins to take shape.
3. Defining the Scope
Whether your project is a full-scale remodel, a thoughtful refresh, or a new build, we’ll craft a tailored scope of work outlining the specific design services we’ll provide. Every detail is considered to ensure our process aligns seamlessly with your goals.
4. Proposal & Agreement
Once the scope is defined, we prepare a detailed proposal and contract based on the estimated time, scope, and level of design involvement your project requires. This ensures transparency, clarity, and confidence as we move forward together.
5. The Design Journey
With the foundation in place, we move into the creative phase, developing layouts, selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings, and curating every element that will bring your space to life. Throughout the process, we collaborate closely to ensure the design reflects your vision with beauty, function, and intention.
LIVING ROOMS
The living room is where comfort meets character. We consider every element, from furniture and finishes to lighting and architectural details. All to create a space rich with warmth, texture, and meaningful connection.
KITCHENS
The kitchen is the soul of the home, and we take time to understand how you cook, move, and live in this space, ensuring every element has its place. Thoughtful product selection and intentional design create a kitchen that is not only functional and durable but also warm, welcoming, and seamlessly connected to your other living spaces.
BEDROOMS
A bedroom should feel restful but never dull. We layer texture through trim, drapery, and upholstery, and add warmth and color with rugs, wallpaper, and curated linens. After all, you spend a third of your life here, it should be a room you love waking up to.
BATHROOMS
Bathrooms are always a favorite, as they are small spaces with big potential. Just like your kitchen, every detail is thoughtfully considered. From multifunction shower heads and organized vanities that feel like furniture pieces, to the tile- oh, the tile! Our goal is a bathroom that delights in every detail, while being functional, thoughtful, and visually inspiring.
